Hand-built in Charleston, South Carolina, the piece begins as a solid form that is carved, shaped, and finished entirely by hand. Soft rounded edges, a central architectural void, and a textured mineral-white surface give the object a quiet presence from every angle.
Designed to function as a side table or nightstand, it is equally intended to stand alone as a sculptural object.
This is the original prototype and the first piece in the series. Surface variations, tool marks, and subtle irregularities reflect its handmade construction and make this object one of one.
