I create art as a way of translating imagination into something tangible.
What begins as an idea, a feeling, or a fleeting image becomes a physical object that didn’t exist before. That transformation continues to fascinate me, and it’s the reason I create something everyday.
My relationship with art began in the fifth grade. My teacher, Mrs. Phillips, filled our classroom with detailed drawings created by her husband, an architect. I remember standing in front of them, completely captivated. They weren’t just drawings they revealed that imagination could become something real. That moment quietly changed the direction of my life.
Since then, I’ve explored a wide range of mediums, from clay and plaster sculpture to digital illustration and mixed-media work. Each medium has taught me a different way of thinking, but the goal has always remained the same: to create work that invites curiosity, reflection, and emotional connection.
Music often shapes the rhythm of my process, while the storytelling and visual language of anime have influenced the way I think about atmosphere, movement, and character. Rather than illustrating what I see, I create what I feel.
I was born in Germany and now live in Charleston, South Carolina. Both places continue to influence my perspective the contrast between history and modern life, structure and freedom, quiet moments and bold expression.
Every piece I create is an invitation to pause, look a little longer, and discover something that wasn’t immediately obvious. Whether you’re collecting an original work or simply exploring the gallery, I’m grateful you’ve taken the time to visit.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
